FHE outing

As soon as the kids got home from school, we shuffled them into the car and off the the Living Aquarium to meet up with my sister. Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts & Parks sponsors a free day at least once a month at various museums throughout Salt Lake County. Anyhow, we got there, and all of Salt Lake County was there also lol. There was a 45 minute wait, and no parking *wth*
So, change of plans, we decided to head to Temple square and see the lights. It's a good thing the weather was mild, more like a fall day verses a winter day in Utah. Especially for the mister who was in his "regular" attire. Basketball shorts, a tee, and cap. This weather does not faze this man.

Forgot my camera, hello camera phone :)

Although the night did not go as we planned. I'm glad they were troopers and went along with my change of plans. I'm just spontaneous that way *kidding* Temple Square was beautiful, and they got to sit through the Christus presentation. They were in awe. We walked through the grounds and they were just taking in all the sites. They enjoyed hearing President Monson's voice over the speakers and guessing who the shepherds were over by the Reflection Pond. I love how curious children are.
