5 boys & a girl

Saturday night our girls spent the night at my aunts and got to visit with their great grandma. So we got to spend some time with just the boys.
I can't believe our oldest will be in youth this year and is preparing to receive his priesthood. Marques is shy, really shy, and can be the biggest goof ball. His dad gives him a hard time about it sometimes, and tells him to act his age. lol. But I'm glad he is still a child at heart. I am however nervous for him. Youth seems like such a big step! And he is SO NOT the social type. He is such a big helper and is such a good big brother. He loves to read. Play football. Draw. Skateboard. And is a science guy, so he says.
Our second oldest, Jonah, is the total opposite! He is a social butterfly! Wait, are guys called social butterflies? Haha. Seriously, this kids make friends so easily. And he is the biggest teddy bear, maybe I shouldn't tell people that, he has a reputation to keep. lol! But he is one of the "big" boys in his grade, and yet his teacher always calls to tell me that he is always helping someone, and is a friend to everyone. He is loves music. Food. And is such a laid back kid.
Next is Devon. Oh Devon. Lol! This kid is the class clown. He is always pulling pranks, teasing someone, or laughing. He sometimes gets in trouble for laughing. Like when he laughs at inappropriate times ex: someone at church tripping ugly and then they try to play it off but can't because he's laughing/giggling. Yeah, his loud, infectious laugh, makes you want to laugh, not at the person, but just cause his laugh is so funny. We're working on that. He is my bubbly boy. Always happy. Loves his mommy. Wants to work at Chili's or be a teacher lol.
Then there's Dawson. My little grown up baby. He's got the vocabulary of a sixth grader. Is independent. Tells me he's a big boy and in the same breath tells me he's my baby. He loves big trucks. Loves football and showing his six pack. Loves to dance. His dance moves are hilarious. His dancing and Devon laughing can keep us entertained for hours haha.
We hung out, had moltens for dessert. And just enjoyed their company. Love my boys.
